Project Engineer Design - Energy (Hamme-Mille/Leuven)

As a Project Engineer you are responsible for the development of industrial energy projects. Together with the customer, you dive into the production process to map the energy flows in a detailed manner (possibly on the basis of additional measurements). Then, equipped with information from your fellow specialists, you start the identification process of profitable, energy-saving projects. In addition, you inventively rethink existing production processes in order to minimize the Co2 impact. In both trajectories you make extensive use of the latest technologies that are the result of our own research and testing.

Your responsibilities

  • You use your creativity to analyze and redefine existing production processes
  • Elaborating energy savings measures
  • Drafting relevant tests
  • Performing pinch analyses
  • Engineering of innovative installations
  • As the main point of contact for customers, you also take care of customer relations and spot new opportunities.

Profile

  • Education: civil engineer

  • Experience in a production/engineering environment is an asset

  • Passion for energy, engineering and sustainability

  • Knowledge of industrial energy technologies

  • Ownership of delivered work

  • Hands-on/can do mentality

  • Ability to work very accurately and analytically, even under time pressure

  • Team player and able to work/act independently

  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, French is an asset.
